To commemorate this sunny baseball season, we created a beer that signaled the sweetest parts of summer. Enter: Hell or High Watermelon. We challenge you to find another brewery that makes a watermelon beer commercially. It is perfect for summertime activities: BBQ, beaches, and of course – ballparks.

As many of you may know, we recently announced that Hell or High Watermelon is now available on tap at AT&T Park in our native San Francisco and at The Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

Naturally, thinking about beers and ballparks makes us hungry. We got to talking about which foods at each of these parks would pair best with our watermelon wheat. In the spirit of good sportsmanship, we put together a little guide for you all.

We know there are a lot of hometown favorites when it comes to sports eats, so don’t hold it against us if we didn’t mention your go-to.

AT&T Park – San Francisco

Garlic Fries from Gilroy Garlic Fry

A serious San Francisco cult classic. These fries are a must-have and an easy pick for pairing with a cold beer. Seagulls love ‘em too, so watch your back.

Crab Sandwich from Crazy Crab’z

Sweet Dungeness crab piled high between two slices of garlic bread. This sandwich is a great compliment to the fresh, citrus notes in Hell or High Watermelon.

Mini Corndogs from Public House

A small spin (pun intended) on the comfort food classic and the perfect companion for this brew.

Crisped Carnitas Tacos from Mijita

A cold Hell or High Watermelon will help ease the pain of the Mijita’s infamously long lines. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

The Great American Ball Park – Cincinnati

Pulled Pork Sandwich from Mr. Red’s Smokehouse

Tender and smoky, this $8 sandwich is a fan favorite and we can see why. Finish off the meal with your watermelon slice and wash it down with a cool beer.

Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders from The Machine Room

Crisp and crunchy with just the right about of kick. These tenders are an ideal appetizer to pair with this brew.

Helmet Nachos

This infamous ballpark snack has all the good stuff – chips, cheese sauce, jalapenos. Hell or High Watermelon would be a fantastic “cool down” after polishing this off.

Thanks for your support, and we’ll see you at the ballgame!
